Comfortable sandal, but...

I was so looking forward to this sandal. I ordered down a half size and the fit was great. The sole is very comfortable. I was told the straps adjusted, but I am not quite sure how, but they fit my rather skinny feet nonetheless. My big complaint is the stretchy webbing that does not hold your foot in place. While being quite comfortable it's kind of like having rubber bands to keep something in place. Didn't work for me.

Not the same as last year

I purchased the Cortona last year for hiking and love them. I hiked all over Missouri and my feet felt safe and supported. The new pair arrived this year I was shocked how different the materials are. The base is not as comfortable and the upper is too flimsy. This pair is fine for walking in urban settings, but not for hiking even the simplest trails.

They easily snagged near the small toe and really look torn up already and I've only worn them twice. Disappointing.

Could be my favorite sandal

I have worn many major sport sandal brands over the years, only to be disappointed when they are no longer the same or aren’t available. I was hesitant to try the Cortona since I have a high instep and the strap on another brand with a similar style was not long enough and even if I left it long still bothered when my feet swell. I also wasn’t sure about the toe loop. The straps on the Cortona are so soft and stretchy, I don’t think either of those concerns will bother me. They also fit my wide feet without looking like boats. It is still chilly here so I haven’t had the chance to wear them yet but can’t wait!

perfect sandles I have ever had!

Love these, had surgery on 2 toes on left foot. Having issues still not all healed. But the most important things 4 me is the wider toe box, bed of shoe is very comfortable, and the adjustability od straps as surgery foot still swells. So easy to adjust. The way the straps make the top it doesn't go over where my surgery sights are, it actually exposes more of my toes that other sandles rub. Purchased 2. Glad I did
