I have worn many major sport sandal brands over the years, only to be disappointed when they are no longer the same or aren’t available. I was hesitant to try the Cortona since I have a high instep and the strap on another brand with a similar style was not long enough and even if I left it long still bothered when my feet swell. I also wasn’t sure about the toe loop. The straps on the Cortona are so soft and stretchy, I don’t think either of those concerns will bother me. They also fit my wide feet without looking like boats. It is still chilly here so I haven’t had the chance to wear them yet but can’t wait!

Love these, had surgery on 2 toes on left foot. Having issues still not all healed. But the most important things 4 me is the wider toe box, bed of shoe is very comfortable, and the adjustability od straps as surgery foot still swells. So easy to adjust. The way the straps make the top it doesn't go over where my surgery sights are, it actually exposes more of my toes that other sandles rub. Purchased 2. Glad I did

Very comfortable walking shoes. Wore them to Cancun and was able to do water activities with them on. Not the easiest to put back on when wet but still a good shoes

I've been looking for good walking sandals that have a foot area and sole similar to the old Teva style 'flip flop' style sandal (which was discontinued many years ago!) ...But, these are even better! These sandals have a molded foot area with light arch support, and what I call a tire tread-like sole. The straps for the big toe and the upper foot are very comfortable and have some 'give'. I am considering buying another pair! I will add to what another reviewer wrote in that these sandals do run large, so size DOWN for half sizes. For example, in sandals I normally will get a 10 if the sandals or flip flops don't come in 1/2 sizes (these don't). I normally wear a size 9 but I like to have my sandals roomy at the toe. I ordered a size 9 and these fit perfectly; roomy in the toe area just as I like! These sandals look like they may be heavy but they are surprisingly light. These are very comfortable for long walks.
