Monica Gray

Writer, Adventurer

Monica runs a solo female travel blog at https://monicalynngray.com. She’s been traveling solo for more than seven years, seeking local food, new cultures, and adventures in lesser-known destinations. She graduated Binghamton University in 2015 with a BA in psychology and English. After graduation, she bought a one-way flight to Bangkok and hasn’t looked back since. A few of her adventures have led her along an unguided trek to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, trek through the Great Smokey Mountains, live in a van in New Zealand, and dance at a wedding in India. Since she’s always walking the trails of famous national parks, she calls herself a shoe-expert. Her fashion mainly revolves around wearing anything she can hike or camp in. When she’s not hiking, you can find her reading books or writing. Currently, she’s working on publishing her first travel memoir.
